Offering an overall appearance that could best be described as a Cartier Santos combined with one of the robots from Michael Bay’s Transformers films, the Hublot Square Bang collection takes the fundamental DNA of the brand’s signature Big Bang timepiece and expresses it within the context of a square-shaped profile. Since debuting in 2022, Hublot’s Square Bang series has expanded to include models in a wide variety of different materials. However, up until now, every single one of them has been a chronograph. Unlike traditional woven carbon fiber, which is composed of fibers running in two directions, Hublot’s 3D Carbon Fiber is woven on three different planes, and this creates a three-dimensional grid-like structure throughout the material revealed during the machining process.
